UL-Lafayette and Coach Mark Hudspeth Are Finalizing A New Six-Year Deal

CBS Sports is reporting that UL-Lafayette and Head Football Coach Mark Hudspeth are finalizing a new deal that will keep Coach at UL for the next six years.

According to the report, we can expect an announcement as early as this week once all of the details are finalized in the contract. Since arriving at UL, Coach Hudspeth has produced three 9-game winning seasons, and has led his team to three consecutive bowl wins in New Orleans for the R&L Carriers Bowl.

Coach Hudspeth has also been the driving force behind renovations at Cajun Field. CBS Sports predicts that Coach Hudspeth will become the highest paid coach in the Sun Belt Conference once the new contract is finalized.
