UL Ragin Cajuns Continue Season In CollegeInsider.com Tournament

The season isn't over yet for the UL-Lafayette Ragin Cajuns men's basketball team. The team has accepted an invitation to play in the CollegeInsiders.com basketball tournament. 

32 teams have been invited to play in the postseason tournament, and the Ragin Cajuns will take part in this tournament. The Cajuns first game in the tourney will take place Tuesday, March 17th,  against Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX.

It will be the second time UL has taken part in the CIT, having previously done so in 2011-12. With a win the Cajuns would move on to the second round, to be played either March 20 or 21.

The Cajuns will enter the postseason with a 20-13 overall record, while the Cardinals come into the tournament with a 18-10 record. This will be the first meeting between the Cajuns and Cardinals, who are in their second year of transition to Division I. They are a member of the Southland Conference.
