Underpass On University Avenue Is Flooded, Now Closed
The underpass on University Ave. is flooded and now closed.
Storms have dropped a large amount of rain in Lafayette on Sunday morning and we are now getting reports of some localized flooding
The underpass on University Ave. is located near Cameron St. and it is now closed due to flooding in the area.
We also have seen reports of some flooding on the the Evangeline Thruway. If you see standing water on the road it is best to avoid and seek a different route.
