Vermilion ARC Asks For Help Identifying Thieves

The Vermilion ARC maintains a drop-off point for donations of clothing and household goods in Abbeville, intended to be used by the program.

Sunday, a beige Nissan pulls up to the drop-off point on Charity Street and a blonde pony-tailed female exits the vehicle, not with the intention of making a donation, but to steal some of the donations.

Abbeville police are investigating, and are asking anyone with information to contact their department at (337) 893-2511.

If you can identify this woman, or the owner of the car, please do not hesitate to contact authorities.  The Vermilion ARC does great work for people who have disabilities, and to see someone steal from them not only hurts my heart, but angers me as well.
