It's safe to say Virginia Tech women's lacrosse team just recorded one video they wish they could take back. On Sunday (March 25) a video of the squad rapping the lyrics to Lil Dicky's "Freaky Friday" surfaced online, and wouldn't you know it, they got caught spitting the most controversial section of the entire track—aka, the part with the N-Word.

The track the women are rapping along to finds Lil Dicky and Chris Brown switching bodies and enjoying the spoils of their respective identities. For Dicky, who takes control of C. Breezy's body, one of those perks is getting to say the N-Word, which is something he immediately goes all out with (Breezy sings it). So do the ladies on Virginia Tech's lacrosse team.

"What up, my nigga? (woo) What up, my nigga?/Big ups, my nigga, we up, my nigga/You pussy ass nigga, man, fuck y’all niggas/'Cause I’m that nigga, nigga, nigga, nigga/I’m that nigga," spit the women in the vid.

According to TMZ, the coach of the squad apologized for the team's behavior, while explaining that the women in the vid weren't spitting the lyrics with any malicious intent. He calls the incident a "teachable moment." It is unclear whether or not the Lady Hokies will face any repercussions for their actions, but it's probably safe to say they'll face the wrath of social media criticism.

This controversy echoes the case of the University of New Hampshire's Alpha Phi Sorority, a group of White girls who were caught rapping the N-Word in Kanye's West's "Gold Digger." Needless to say, it doesn't appear that video was strong enough a warning for the ladies in this particular vid.

Watch it below, and peep the visual for "Freaky Friday" beneath that.
