Wale pays homage to Michael Jackson’s classic Thriller song, “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing),” with his rap ballad, “My P.Y.T.”

The song also borrows the groove from Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing,” as the Maybach Music Group rapper serenades the pretty young things who are independent and have their own.

"A James Bond n---- with a Saint Laurent fetish / And thank god I never had a baby mother either," he raps, adding, "Give her 50 feet fell in love in a week / She penetrating my mind I penetrate that physique / Bitches I would delete / Digging our chemistry / No limit to me and she / Come give me kiss on the cheek."

Assisting Wale on the song is rapper Sam Sneak who describes his ideal woman on the chorus.

"She's a couple years younger / But she badder than a motherf---er / Ass fatter than a motherf---er / She got her own she don’t need no ticket," he spits.

Wale's "My P.Y.T" is the first single from his upcoming fifth studio album titled SHINE, which stands for "Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy." The collection is due out in the fall.

“My fifth album is a reason to celebrate, and a lot of the music I’ve been making is very chill," he says of the project. "I’m singing – and I’m not singing to be the next Brian McKnight – I’m singing to enhance my songwriting ability and to evolve as an artist.”
