Ed Sheeran currently has the no. 1 song in the country with "Shape of You," and Wale gets in on the buzz, dropping a remix to the song late Tuesday night (Feb. 14). Folarin tacks on a verse to the song's start, intermixing romance and wordplay as he has in the past.

"You fine, I just want you to shine/You’ll be out of your mind once that anatomy mine/Then that’ll be that, won’t let you ever look back/For her I’ll cut all my players, mess up my salary cap," he raps. Wale mentions shine in this lyric and more, making reference to his upcoming album by the same name.

There's no timetable for S.H.I.N.E., but Wale just dropped his video for "Running Back" with Lil Wayne this month. That and “My PYT” have thus far been confirmed tracks on the album.

"Shape of You" knocked "Bad and Boujee" by the Migos out of the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, with Sheeran as well planning to release an album soon, his Divide scheduled to drop early next month, on March 3. Sheeran said earlier this year that he considered giving the song to Rihanna. "I went in to write songs for other people," Sheeran said." We were writing this song and I was like 'this would really work for Rihanna.' And then I started singing lyrics like 'putting Van The Man on the jukebox' and I was like 'well she's not really going to sing that, is she?' And then we sort of decided halfway through that we were just going to make it for me."
