Wale is fed up. Earlier today, President Barack Obama released his two-part summer playlist and sure enough Wale's "LoveHate Thing" was the very first song on it. The president has shown his fandom of the D.C. rapper before, picking him to perform before his final State of the Union Address, and inviting him to the White House this past April to discuss criminal justice reform.

For some though, Wale's inclusion on the playlist was an opportunity to rag on the rapper, something he's clearly not standing for any longer, as he has clapped back in extended fashion. "Whole bunch of "influencers" who will comment on my music with out even listening to it .same narrative every time . They love music 4 irony," he wrote. "Niggas can't see that niggas will abandon the very essence of our culture for cheap laughs likes and fake friends."

The majority of tweets are Wale responding to fans chiming in on his back-and-forth with the above mentioned "influencer" who once worked at a publication Wale has a history of beefing with. While many tell him to ignore the pot shots he asks, "How many jokes I gotta take? How many rappers I gotta see Come n go before I get respect."

Check the long line of Wale response tweets below, with a handful already rescinded.
