Whether in his verses or on social media, Kanye West says some pretty outlandish things. Just yesterday, he told EDM artist Deadmau5 to perform at his daughter North's birthday party wearing a Minnie Mouse head. And on The Life of Pablo's "Famous," he inspired dozens of headlines and hot takes with a single line about Taylor Swift. Context, of course, is everything, which is why it's so funny to take Kanye's comments out of context or present them in an entirely new one.

Enter Adam West, who starred as the original Batman in the TV series by the same name in the 1960s. Footage from a rejected AMC pilot from director Kevin Smith and comedian Ralph Garman for a show called Hollywood Babble-On has surfaced and with it, a bit in which Adam West reads the lyrics to Kanye's semi-romantic Yeezus closer "Bound 2." With West supposedly releasing an album of spoken work covers titled West on West, the Batman star reads the profane lyrics with high comedic effect.

"Hey you remember when we first met?" he asks in earnest. "Ok I don’t remember when we first met." West cries a single tear during the dramatic reading, seemingly touched by lines like "She asked me what I wished for on my wish list / Have you ever asked your bitch for other bitches?"

Check out the clip above, which sort of makes one wish the pilot got picked up, if only for more West on West.
