Watch as forty beagles are released out in nature for the very first time in their life. Yes, four dogs are finally allowed to experience grass, fresh air, and other elements of nature once released from a Beagle Freedom Project in Spain. See how the dogs would react to the grass and sun light for the first time as they arrived to Los Angeles.

Scared and visibly unsure of leaving the confines of their cages, the dogs were among many being used for lab testing in Spain before it went out of business.

Beagles are often used in laboratory settings because of their personalities. The dogs are often used for cosmetic testing and/or product testing.

A total of 72 beagles were rescued by members of Animal Rescue Media Education (ARME) during the operation - most of whom had never been outside their cages.

Forty of the beagles arrived in Los Angeles, U.S., last week where they will be put up for adoption.
