Many of us have taken a tour of the White House in our nation's capitol, and this being a very patriotic weekend, those tours are probably going to be packed for 4th of July! Just in time for America's birthday, today will be the first time in 40 years that pictures will be allowed on White House tours. First Lady Michelle Obama posted an Instagram video lifting the ban, not only on pictures, but posting to social media as well. There are still restrictions, of course. You can only use phones or small cameras with lenses that don't exceed 3 inches. Every other piece of photography equipment is still banned, though.Tablets, video cameras (including action cameras), cameras with interchangeable lenses, tripods, and selfie sticks are still prohibited.

Thank you Mrs Obama, for bringing the White House tours into the 21st Century!
