In a hilarious pre-recorded sketch called "The Day Beyonce Turned Black," aired during last night's episode of Saturday Night Live (February 13), the release of Beyonce's "Formation" video sends white folks into a full blown panic, lampooning (in extreme exaggeration, we hope) some of the real-life response towards the artist's latest video. (Well, from Fox News, anyway.)

"For white people, it was just another great week," an ominous voice announces in the clip. "They never saw it coming. They had no warning. Then, the day before the Super Bowl, it happened."

"Honey, get in here!" a panicked white woman shouts at her husband while Bey's "unapologetically black" video is aired and discussed on TV breaking news.

"What is it? What's wrong?" asks her concerned husband.

"I think Beyonce's... black," she replies in a panic.

As Beyonce's video continues to spread among the masses, so does the collective panic, with confused white people trying desperately to figure out what it all means. "Maybe this song isn't for us," one man slowly concludes, a woman crying out in response, "But usually everything is!"

Slowly but surely, on "the day white people lost their Beyonce," white people begin discovering that there are, indeed, other black folks among them, including celebrities like Kerry Washington—sending society into an apocalyptic-like mass frenzy.

"Mommy, is Taylor Swift still white?" a little boy asks his mother at the end of the clip.

"I don't know sweetheart. Just close your eyes and it'll be over in the morning," she whispers in response fearfully.
