Word to the wise, don’t get too aggressive with Will Smith. Just asked the Ukrainian reporter in Moscow who tried to smooch the Hollywood heavyweight during his interview with him. Will’s infamous smack was captured on video and instantly went viral on the Internet.

Smith appeared on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ on Tuesday night (May 22) to explain his side of the kissing fiasco and have a good laugh about the incident. “It was just awkward,” he explained to Dave.

“He says, ‘I’m you’re biggest fan, can I have a hug?’” he continues. “So I go to give this joker a hug, and he tries to lean in and kiss me!” Smith added that the reporter’s team was apologetic for his flagrancy. “They were like, ‘Oh, no, we’re sorry, you know. It’s just his shtick, you know,’” he says. “I said, ‘Well, that’s why his a– got shtuck.’”

LOL! That’s a priceless comeback. And seriously, we can’t blame Smith for giving the reporter a courtesy tap on the jaw. He’s lucky he didn’t sucker punch him. Ha!

Will Smith can be seen smacking aliens in his new movie ‘Men In Black 3D,’ which hit theaters on Friday (May 25).
