Young Guru Says “Adnis” Will Be on Physical Version of Jay-Z’s ‘4:44’ Album

Hovy's home. The release of JAY-Z's 4:44 album has been the hot topic of the last few days with a plethora of questions being asked on the internet. Is this his best work in years? Is the Brooklyn vet past his prime? Is he truly the G.O.A.T.? Is this LP what the game needed? But one of the biggest questions popping up was where the hell is "Adnis," the song that prominently played during a visual teaser for the 4:44 album that aired during the NBA Finals. The promo played a snippet of the song's track, which featured a haunting loop and had people salivating for the new project. But when the project dropped, it wasn't there. Now we have answers.

After apparently getting bombarded with questions about the whereabouts of the track, Hov's right-hand engineer, Young Guru spoke up about the omission on social media. "Guys calm down Adnis will be on the physical copies," he wrote on Twitter. "If you guys act right I may slip a couple other songs on there.. shhh don't tell jay."

Jay's new 10-song project, seemed a little light in some people's eyes, so the prospect of additional songs on the compact disk is a plus.

After debuting exclusively through Jigga's Tidal streaming service, the new project might be coming to other platforms sooner than expected. According to reports, the project will start streaming on iTunes and Apple Music after a full week exclusivity on Tidal.
