YoungBoy Never Broke Again's recent show in South Carolina turned violent when a fan tried to grab the rapper's chain while he performed amidst the crowd.

NBA YoungBoy was in S.C. on Friday night (Dec. 21), performing for a packed crowd. In video footage provided by TMZ, the rapper can been seen on the shoulders of his security as he performs amid a sea of humanity. At one point he takes off his chain and seems to be trying to pass it off to his bodyguard when someone reaches up and tries to snatch the piece. NBA leaps from his pedestal and swings at the man, kicking off a brief fight.

The scuffle is broken up and order restored but, shortly afterward, another fight breaks out after the attempted thief continues to heckle the rapper.

Unfortunately, this is not a precedent-setting event for NBA or hip-hop as a whole. During a show in Richmond, Va. back in September, a similar scene broke out. NBA was performing at The National when a trip through the crowd went left and resulted in the rapper taking a swing at someone. Chaos ensued and was later quelled by security.

In music-related news, the Baton Rouge rapper released his latest mixtape Realer on Friday. The new tape features guest appearances from Lil Baby and Plies. He also released a video for the track "I Came Thru."
