15-Year-Old Wakes Up After Heart Transplant, His Reaction Is Great [VIDEO]

A 15-year-old boy in Detroit named Trevor Sullivan needed a heart transplant last year, and waited nine months for a donor. Trevor finally received a new heart and after his surgery you could hear it in the young man's voice that he is grateful.

Not only is the young man glad to be alive, but he is always able to breathe easier. The surgery happened in early November and the young man is reportedly doing well.

The good news is that his body has not rejected the new heart and he appears to be on the road to a successful recovery. Trevor does not know who the organ donor is, but he and his family are grateful.
