18-Wheeler Slides Down Hill, Takes Out Stoplight

Watch as an 18-wheeler slides backwards on a frozen road in Texas and then hits a stoplight.

The truck was attempting to climb a hill on an icy road and it was a bad idea from the start. The end result was the truck sliding back down the hill and hitting a light pole.

Luckily the truck did not hit another vehicle or someone alongside the roadway.

Let this video be a reminder to NEVER get on the roadways when they covered with ice. For a few days here we have advised people to not get on the roads because of the icy conditions, yet some did not listen---And this is what happened to a few here in Acadiana.

I think I'll store this video and story and let it be a reminder the next roadways freeze here. I don't mess with ice on the roads.
