Rapper 2 Chainz really is different. The 'Freebase' rapper has joined forces with the Atlanta Entertainment Basketball League to give locals kids an opportunity to start the school year with confidence.

On Sunday (Aug. 3), the former college basketball star will hit Atlanta's Central Park Gym to kick off the inaugural T.R.U. 2 School Fair from 3-5PM ET. The event is free and open to the public.

In addition to offering school supplies to 200 children, 2 Chainz and his T.R.U. Foundation will be sponsoring new haircuts and hairstyles to underprivileged youth in attendance. Those who would like to make donations can do so at the location.

There will be bounce houses, scheduled celebrity appearances, food and prizes at the fair before the playoff game starts at 6 p.m. ET. 2 Chainz's Street Execs team will have to defend their undefeated title against underdogs Grind Hard. Maybe the 'B.O.A.T.S. 2' artist will even end up coaching as he did earlier in the 2014 AEBL season.

Either way, it will be a big day for the kids of Atlanta just a week before school starts up again.
