2 New Iberia Kindergarten Students To Have Artwork Featured In Governor’s Mansion
Preston Borne and Beau Bender, both Kindergarten students at St. Edward School in New Iberia, will have their artwork displayed this month at the Louisiana's Governor's Mansion for the month of November.
Each month, artwork from students all across Louisiana is featured in the Governor's Mansion, an honor that First Lady Supriya Jindal has been giving to these students since 2008.
“This month’s art display highlights the artistic talent of Louisiana’s students," says Mrs. Jindal. "Many of these magnificent pieces were inspired by Louisiana’s culture. Combining our State’s culture with the artist’s unique style, the artwork creates a stunning cultural presentation for all who visit. We are truly impressed by the pieces featured at the Governor’s Mansion for the month of November.”
Preston and Beau are two of 14 students whose artwork will be displayed this month.
