UPDATE – 2 Teens Identified In Fatal New Iberia Crash

Update: The two teens who lost their lives on Wednesday morning were brothers.

Our news partners at KATC say they have been identified as 18-year-old Nic Peltier and 16-year-old Christian Peltier. They were both students at Westgate High School. Today was supposed to be Nick Peltier's graduation.

A crash in New Iberia claims the lives of two teenagers Wednesday morning.

It happened at South Port Boulevard and East Admiral Doyle when the 18-year-old driver allegedly ran a stop sign as the vehicle was turning on to East Admiral Doyle just after 7 AM. That's when the vehicle was hit by an SUV.

The passenger with the driver was 16-years-old.
