LSU Grad Pledges $40 Million Donation To University

An LSU graduate has pledged a $40 Million gift to the university which is to be split between LSU athletics and LSU engineering. 

The donation will rank amongst one of the largest ever for the university. LSU has not released the person's name who has pledged the generous donation.

$20 Million will go towards the LSU athletic department for scholarships and facility improvements and an additional $20 Million will be donated to the school of engineering for scholarships.

This donation will be granted to the university upon the death of the donor. This gift to LSU is part of a settlement of the estate.

Being a graduate of LSU, I too hope to make a $40 million to the University one day. However, I work in radio. Read between the lines.
