50 Cent and 2 Chainz Have New Music on the Way
It looks like 50 Cent and 2 Chainz have some new music coming our way. 50 said as much last night (March 28) in an Instagram post featuring a photo of himself and the Hibachi for Lunch artist .
"I knocked out a joint with @hairweavekiller today we got some heat New Music coming soon!!! #effenvodka," reads 50's caption for the picture of himself with his arm wrapped around 2 Chainz's shoulder. You can see the photo for yourself below.
50 and 2 Chainz last collaborated on "Get Low," 50's single from 2015 which also featured an appearance from Jeremih. As its title implies, the track was a club anthem, and we really wouldn't be surprised if the new track from 50 and Tity Boi was along the same lines.
In other 50-related news, MSNBC’s Ari Melber recently used lyrics from one of the G-Unit boss' Power of a Dollar classics to make a serious point about President Trump and his perceived deceitful tendencies. Referencing 50's "I'm a Hustler," Melber recited the lyrics, “I hate a liar more than I hate a thief/A thief is only after my salary/A liar is after my reality.”
2 Chainz, meanwhile, was supposed to be dropping his new album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music on April 7, but in a recent Instagram post, he says quite simply, "#prettygirlsliketrapmusic coming soon , ain't no date bihhhh @defjamrecords wudup ." Guess we'll have to keep waiting.
