6ix9ine's mother pleads for a judge to show mercy to her incarcerated son ahead of his Dec. 18 sentencing.

According to several letters obtained by XXL on Friday (Dec. 13), 6ix9ine's mother, Nativadad Perez-Hernandez, his older brother Oscar Hernandez and his girlfriend, Jade, otherwise known as her birth name Rachel Wattley, all pleaded for the judge to give 6ix9ine a lenient sentence.

In her letter, 6ix9ine's mother asserts that despite the pain writing the letter has caused her, she would do anything for her son. "This letter is to ask you for leniency in the name of Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on my son Daniel Hernandez," 6ix9ine's mother writes. "I write this with anguish and a heavy heart. The pain that writing this has caused me is unsurpassed, but I would do anything for my son, Daniel Hernandez, because of the good heart and sweet soul that he always was and still is today."

Throughout the letter, 6ix9ine's mother stresses the way the untimely death of his father and poverty impacted his life. She also says that Tekashi took care of both herself and his brother after he became famous.

6ix9ine's brother, Oscar, also requested that the judge go easy on the "Fefe" rapper. Hernandez also asked the judge to see the situation from his family's perspective. "As his older brother, I want nothing more than to watch him prosper," Oscar Hernandez writes. "As a stranger looking in, I see a scared kid whose light attracted a venomous group who exploited him. I can't expect my words to change your decision, but I ask you to please put yourself in my family's shoes."

In addition, 6ix9ine's current girlfriend Jade makes a brief plea for leniency. She notes that the rapper will be able to prove how much he's changed upon his release. "Leading up to this sentencing day, we are extremely optimistic that he will be able to show the change in him to anyone that matters and to the entire world," Jade writes. "I am hoping that you can consider this letter as a reasonable statement based on his conduct in the courtroom."

6ix9ine was arrested on federal charges in November of 2018. In January, he pleaded guilty to the charges. Months later, in September, he testified against his two former Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods associates Aljermiah "Nuke" Mack and Anthony "Harv" Ellison, the latter of whom was convicted of kidnapping 6ix9ine this past October.

During his testimony, 6ix9ine told the court that he expected to be released from prison in 2020 after cooperating with federal authorities.
