A Local Dad Brings A Piece Of LSU’s Tiger Stadium To His Son’s Birthday Party

One local dad may have just earned himself the title "Dad Of The Year" after he constructed a replica of LSU's field in his own back yard. Robert Fontenot, of Mamou, recently painted his back yard to resemble the field of LSU's Tiger Stadium in preparation of his son's birthday party. Robert says that his son, Austin Fontenot, was set to celebrate his birthday and being a huge Tigers fan he wanted to do something special for his son. The Acadiana dad says he couldn't bring his son and all of his friends to Tiger Stadium for a birthday celebration so he decided to bring a piece of Tiger Stadium to his own back yard.

Fontenot painted the "Eye Of The Tiger" in the middle of the football field he constructed, and even had plans to even paint the end zones too. However, due to the weather conditions this weekend in Acadiana, Fontenot was unable to complete the field, still the "eye" and yard lines seems to have done the job.
