Acadiana Man Being Sought; Thought To Be Armed

Officers with the Eunice Police Department say they are seeking a man who is wanted in connection with a domestic situation that happened this past weekend.

Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot says they are still searching for Chad Manuel who is wanted for the situation that occurred in the 900 block of North 5th Street.

Police say that Manuel is a white male who is bald.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans.

Fontenot says if you know the whereabouts of Manuel, you should call the Eunice Police Department at 337-457-2626.

He says you can also call 911 if you see the man.

Chief Fontenot says that the man has outstanding warrants. Fontenot says it's a possibility that more charges will be leveled against the man.

Manuel was armed with a handgun when he fled from the address.
