Acadiana Residents Say Lafayette Doesn’t Need More Of These Things

It's a good bet one or more of your frustrations with Lafayette will be found on this list.

I asked our listeners and KTDY Facebook followers to share what they feel Lafayette doesn't need more of and boy, did I get a response! I expected a few of them but was very surprised by quite a few others.

We had a reply from local celebrity, Lane Mack, who feels we can always use more Mexican restaurants. Great to hear from you, Lane!

This is one of those that surprised (and disgusted) me and has made me reconsider my shopping destinations:

I couldn't agree with this one more and am already looking for ways to completely avoid Kaliste Saloom for the next three to fifty years:

Not sure I agree with this one...after all, we can always use more people dressed in dinosaur costumes walking their dogs!

I think this one gets a bigger 'AMEN!' from all of us than even the traffic and flooding complaints:

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, it didn't really show Lafayette in the best light. On the other hand, that drop - kick was something! Looks like a lot of people agree...

Last but not least, I think we all agree that there may be more of these than potholes in Lafayette!
