Acadiana Zydeco Women’s Football This Saturday

The Acadiana Zydeco women's tackle football team will have their first home game this Saturday in Opelousas. This is REAL Football ACTION! The Zydeco will be taking on the Gulf Coast RipTide at Donald Garner Stadium at 7pm. The game will be dedicated to the two Opelousas Catholic Juniors who passed away due to injuries sustained from a car accident. The Zydeco are made up of ladies from right here in Acadiana and play teams from Texas, Memphis, New Orleans and beyond. Their first game was against Tallahassee where they fell short by 2 points. Let's hope they can get on track this Saturday April 21 at Donald Garner Statium against the RipTide and have a great season.
