When we look back on the year 2013, we will all be talking about the day of January 10th, 2013. Much of Acadiana is under water today after several inches of rain was dumped over it in the last 24-hours.

All day today, we have been receiving photos from listeners showing us the magnitude of the first flood of the new year. Many of the photos came from areas like in Mamou, Scott, Crowley, Church Point, New Iberia, Opelousas, Breaux Bridge and beyond. Some of these photos were sent in by listeners, while others were posted on Facebook pages. We would like to credit our media partner KATC-TV 3 for some of the shots via their Facebook Page.

Take a look at how high the water is today in parts of Acadiana, and please keep all of the people affected by this flood in your thoughts and prayers. We ask, if you would like to share any photos with us, please e-mail them to us or post them on our Facebook Fan Page.
