This episode of ‘American Idol’ was pretty mundane, considering it was a results show. The most interesting segment was a little clip of Amber Holcomb unable to walk down the stage during her performance of ‘She’s Leaving Home’ during rehearsal because of the fog machine. You couldn't help but think the girl is adorable.

The boys of the Top 9 performed ‘Got to Get You Into My Life’ by the Beatles and proved that the real talent lies with the girls. Their harmonies and stage presence were lacking something fierce. Right after they performed, Ryan Seacrest announced that Paul Jolley would be placed in the bottom three.

Casey Abrams, who competed in season 10 of ‘Idol,’ gave an interesting rendition of the Beatles’ ‘I Saw Her Standing There.’

The girls performed ‘Here, There and Everywhere,’ continuing the Beatles theme and sounded like a well-trained girl group. If anything, can they form all the remaining 'Idol' girls into a girl group?

Ne-Yo performed with season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez for 'Tonight,' which sounded like a knock-off of Ne-Yo’s hit ‘Closer.’

Finally, Seacrest got to announce who was placed in the bottom three and who was safe. Devon Velez and Amber Holcomb joined Paul Jolley in the bottom.

Jolley gave his last song before the judges decided they agreed with America and sent him packing.
