Apple Hits 10 Billion Downloads

Apple announced a huge milestone on Saturday, the app store has hit the 10 billion download mark. 10 Billions apps sold through the app store!  "Thank you. Ten billion times. The App Store has reached 10 billion downloads. Thanks for getting us there," that was Apple's message on their website. The app store is now offering more than 360,000 programs for the Ipod, Ipad and I Phone. Apple also offered a $10,000 I tunes Gift Card for the person who downloaded the 10 Billionth app. The winner was Gail Davies of the U.K., who hung up on Apple when they called to make her a winner. Luckily, Apple called her back and gave her the news and the prize!
