The Time Aretha Franklin Sang ‘America The Beautiful’ At WrestleMania [VIDEO]

At WrestleMania III in the Pontiac Silverdome Aretha Franklin opened the show with her rendition of "America The Beautiful" and it was the best I've ever heard.

As a kid, this stopped me in my tracks. I can remember the day. It was that powerful.

Today, August 16, 2018, we lost a legend at the age of 76, but her voice will live on forever.

What a sad day.
