Men Who Rescued Jalissa Lasalle Tell Their Story [AUDIO]

On Tuesday, Pelican Waste employees Dion Merrick and Brandon Antoine were on a recycling route in St. Martin Parish when they discovered the silver Nissan Altima at the center of an Amber Alert. Thinking quickly, Merrick and Antoine set into motion a chain of events that led to the rescue of 10-year-old Jalissa Lasalle and the arrest of the man accused of kidnapping her.

This morning, Bernadette Lee and Ian Auzenne spoke with Merrick and Antoine on Acadiana's Morning News to learn more about the events leading up to that rescue.
