If you’re in need of about five minutes of Chappie star Hugh Jackman and Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon discussing, joking about, and sporting mullets, have we got a clip for you. Jackman stopped by the show last night to talk Chappie – all robots and future and stuff – but Fallon quickly fixated on his favorite element of the entire film: Jackman’s mullet. Turns out, Jackman went full mullet for the role, and it’s actually not the first time he’s grown out his own party in back/business in front coif.

Now give this a chance. It might sound boring – Adam Sandler talks about food with Conan O’Brien – but the former Saturday Night Live stars (Sandler was, of course, a cast member, while O’Brien as a long-time writer) have some pretty tall tales to share about their time on the show, specifically as it applies to meals.

“Fifty Shades of Grey? That’s nothing!” It’s fair to assume that the last thing most people – even most late night hosts – would ask Ice T should they have him locked in a conversation is how he feels about Fifty Shades of Grey. Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon is not most people, and when Ice T (Ice? Mr. T?) appeared on his show last night, Fallon asked him about America’s current cultural obsession. Ice T had some opinions! They’re kind of great!

Alert, alert: Will Smith still has it. The star of the upcoming con man romantic comedy drama (co-ma rom-com-dram?) Focus hit The Late Show last night to chat it up with host David Letterman and, oh, yeah, to just randomly rap “Gettin Jiggy Wit It” alongside Letterman’s own band. Sure, most late night guests just walk out on stage, give a big hello, and sit down, but not Smith, who seemed determined to remind everyone of his rap roots.

The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon might be prone to brief spats of name-dropping – hey, the guy knows a lot of people! – but on last night’s show, it was at least somewhat appropriate. Still recovering from Sunday night’s SNL 40 super special, Fallon was eager to share his recollections of the evening with his studio audience (and also Questlove, who was actually there, but who charitably recounted the whole evening with the giddy Fallon). There were a lot of people there!

Stay with this one. On last night's 'Tonight Show,' Hugh Grant appeared to chat about various things -- including his new Valentine's Day-timed rom-com release, 'The Rewrite' -- before joining in on a spirited game of Hallway Golf with host Jimmy Fallon and special guest Charles Barkley. Despite a slow start -- it appears that no one really understands the rules or even cares about them -- this game eventually does pick up.

The upcoming 'Fifty Shades of Grey' feature might not be everyone's cup of sexy tea, but leading lady Dakota Johnson would like to at least attempt to change the minds of potential viewers who don't think that anything—yes, anything—can be sexy with the right attitude. On last night's 'Tonight Show,' Johnson was tasked with reading off a series of decidedly unsexy lines, including stuff about Chapstick (?) and sweatpants (?) in an attempt to make them alluring.

It's the moment we all knew would happen eventually -- and, based on the immediacy of the news cycle and when late night shows are actually filmed, it's the moment most of us also knew was happening yesterday -- but 'Daily Show' host Jon Stewart has finally announced his retirement after seventeen years at the news desk. Stewart's show films in the late evenings in New York City, so the news that he had announced his imminent retirement during a taping last night hit the wire many hours before the show actually aired.

As part of a segment he likes to call “Fifty Accents,” host Jimmy Fallon set Dornan up with a “randomly chosen” (sure) accent and a passage from the E.L. James book that became a “global phenomenon.” It's both raunchy and weird, but at least it shows off a little bit of Dornan's range in a way that's (mostly) PG.

Thank goodness for iPad apps. On last night's 'Tonight Show,' host Jimmy Fallon -- who grows more California by the minute, as the show has temporarily relocated to the West Coast -- and guest Will Smith decided to finally give the people what they want: rapping. Well, sort of.

For the next week, 'The Tonight Show' is chilling in sunny Los Angeles -- the frigid cold of New York City, quite understandably, finally got to the crew, and also this has been planned for months -- and host Jimmy Fallon has spared no creative expense when it comes to making his temporarily Hollywood-based show look California cool. And we all know there's only one way to really drive home CA styling: 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.'

It was inevitable. After less than a year on the air, the Jimmy Fallon-starring 'The Tonight Show' has finally found something to supercut: its own weirdly engaging 'Ew!' talk show. Fallon's take on a teen girl talk show (like all teen girl talk shows, it takes place in a basement and doesn't appear to be broadcast to anyone) explores everything that is particularly gross -- er, "ew" -- to the teens these days. What's gross? Everything. Ew!

Jimmy Fallon's 'Lip Flip' must be stopped. It has to end. Sure, the technology that drives this particular 'Tonight Show' segment is vaguely impressive (there are lips! and then they get flipped!), and Fallon and his various guests appear to have a good time pretending to talk out of each other's mouths, but the final execution is so terrifying, so weird, that it can only do one thing: cause nightmares.

Actors! They're weird! Johnny Depp may be one of Hollywood's brightest stars, but that doesn't mean he's immune to the weirdness of artistry -- in fact, Depp has kind of gone whole hog on this being "out there" thing, and it's very much a part of his process as an actor. Considering his box office cache and personal success, yeah, it's worked for him.

Of course, the real joke of 'Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon's adoration for translating current rap and hip hop songs into Broadway versions is simple, it's in the text. It's current songs made into Broadway versions. Easy! But the difference between an okay "Broadway covers" sketch and a great one is how much Fallon and his chosen guest sell it.

Oh, that this was true. Normally, it's nice to pretend that late night "flashbacks" like this are real -- sure, Oprah Winfrey and Jimmy Fallon totally made a soap opera together! -- but this new entry into the subgenre of chat show skits is so weird, so strange, so great that we can only wish it were true. Wish along with us.

Joaquin Phoenix knows a pullout couch when he sees one -- even if its own owner isn't aware of its convenient (and comfy!) extras. On last night's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' guest Joaquin Phoenix somehow hit upon the idea that he and host Jimmy Kimmel should pop into bed to close out the show. Where do ideas come from? What day is it? Where will someone find a bed on the stage of a late night talk show?

Kidman and Fallon have previously met—all celebrities know each other, obviously—but while Fallon remembered their years-ago hang as a sort of weirdly casual thing, Kidman recalls it a bit differently. For Kidman, it was a romantic prospect, and the look on Fallon's face when he realizes what might have been is genuinely priceless. You really blew this one, Fallon.

Like many of us, 'Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon appears to believe that Hollywood superstar Bradley Cooper can do anything -- and, based on his impressive resume of stage and screen roles and accolades, the guy can't be too off the mark. But there is one that Cooper isn't so great at: music. It's sort of surprising, really, and even the overly solicitous Fallon was a little dumbstruck when Cooper admitted that his musical talents are minimal on last night's show.

Ben Stiller has accomplished a lot in his life -- this is the guy who created 'Zoolander,' after all -- but his dearest memory might just be a very unexpected one: that time he survived a hot air balloon ride. Said ride wasn't conceived of as a daredevil experiment, it was actually a fun part of a Stiller family vacation in Italy. It was supposed to be a good experience!
