There are quiet a few predictions for the year 2015 in the movie "Back To The Future II" that have kind of come true. In the movie, Marty McFly learns, in disbelief, that the Chicago Cubs win the 2015 World Series. Last night, the Cubs beat the Prates 4 to 0 in a National League wild card game. Creepy.

"Back To The Future II" correctly predicted in the year 2015 we'd have multi channel viewing, on-line thumbprint payment, drone cameras and video calling. Arguably, it also correctly predicted hover boards and self lacing Nike shoes. Hover boards do exist, but are not likely to ever function like in the movie. Nike will release the "Marty McFly's" for the upcoming 30th anniversary of the film. No clue if they'll be self lacing, but they will exist this year, just the movie said they would.

Currently, the Chicago Cubs are pretty much on fire, having won 10 of their last 11 games. They've swept the defending World Series champion, the San Francisco Giants, and last night shut out the Prates.
