The recent release of the blockbuster Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling has not only shattered box office records worldwide but also ignited a trend that has now found its way into estate sales. One Louisiana resident is cashing in on the Barbie hype by putting up a remarkable collection of over 300 Barbie dolls for sale.

Tara Daniel, the owner of Estate Sales by Tara, revealed the astonishing assortment of Barbie dolls in an exclusive interview with KTVE. "We have over 300 Barbies that we know of here at the house. There are ones in cases that date all the way back to the 1960s," said Daniel. The collector's trove showcases a variety of iconic Barbie dolls, ranging from vintage collectibles to rare editions.

The homeowner, a dedicated Barbie enthusiast, amassed a treasure trove of Barbie memorabilia over the years. "She had Barbie’s friends, Ken and Skipper, the boxes, and the cases that the clothes would go in. If it was Barbie, you name it; it’s probably here," explained Daniel. The comprehensive collection includes not only dolls but also a wide array of accessories and outfits that span Barbie's storied history.

Among the impressive assortment of dolls, there are some particularly notable pieces. "So, one of the ones that’s a pretty good collectible is the I Love Lucy one. She’s pretty neat. Another one that’s pretty neat is the Coca-Cola cheerleading Barbie, and she actually has Ken’s jacket on, so I think that’s pretty cool," Daniel elaborated, highlighting some of the rare and sought-after pieces that collectors and enthusiasts would be eager to get their hands on.

For those eager to own a piece of Barbie history, the collection will be available for public viewing and purchase on Saturday, August 12th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the estate sale event in Columbia, Louisiana. With the continuing popularity of the Barbie movie and the enduring appeal of the beloved doll, this unique collection is expected to draw the attention of collectors, enthusiasts, and nostalgic moviegoers alike.

Whether you're a dedicated Barbie collector or simply someone captivated by the cultural phenomenon, this Louisiana estate sale offers a chance to acquire a piece of Barbie magic.
