As The Game and Meek Mill started beefing last month, Philly rap vet Beanie Sigel got dragged into the middle of it, first supporting Meek, then dissing him. Beans appeared on The Breakfast Club Tuesday morning (Oct. 11) to clarify what role he played in Meek Mill's diss record toward Game and how the whole situation got misconstrued. He says that he helped write and record but was never supposed to be featured on the track.

Charlamagne starts around the 5:20 mark by calling out Sigel for switching up so quickly, saying his loyalty is tied to opportunity. "Get the fuck out of here, Charlamagne," Sigel says. "What loyalty, with who? He ain't provide me no opportunity. He ain't call me and ask me to do that. I did that. Meek wasn’t even there, it was just Omelly in the studio. It wasn’t no call. Somebody told me…I go in there, I wasn’t even going to get on it. I was just like, 'Alright, help them out.' I went and I referenced the track for them and they just kept that part in there with my vocals. Two bars, maybe a bar."

Sigel was already steamed at Charlamagne for comments he had previously made, included below, about Philly rappers. "Everybody else, I can’t co-sign," he says. "All I hear them brothers do in Philly, one week they’re showing love to each other and it's Philly united and then the next week they motherfuckin’ hate each other...The thing that I hate about Philly rap seems like they’re only loyal based off the opportunities being presented to them at the time."

Above though, Beanie says he wasn't as informed on the back-and-forth as it would have seemed, saying that had he heard Game's diss "92 Bars" beforehand, he would have stayed out of it. Later on, he calls Meek "harmless." Watch the full interview up above.
