Legendary New York rap trio Beastie Boys will be honored with an exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, this weekend.

The display will be located on the third floor of the venue and feature items donated back in 2012. "Since we had such a rich, deep collection of stuff from the Beasties when they were inducted, we thought we'd put it out," curator Meredith Rutledge-Borger told Cleveland.com.

Rutledge-Borger says the exhibit will feature hand-written lyrics of the group's hit "Brass Monkey," as well as action figures, Mike D's Volkswagen medallion and outfits from the "Intergalactic" video, plus other memorable items.

The Beastie Boys, Michael "Mike D" Diamond, Adam "MCA" Yauch and Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Chuck D back in 2012. The honor came just weeks before Adam "MCA" Yauch died of cancer.

N.W.A will be inducted at this year's ceremony. Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, the late Eazy-E, MC Ren and DJ Yella are among the honorees for the 31st Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which will take place April 8, 2016 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

When they do take their place in history they will be joining a short list. Other rappers who have already been inducted into the HOF include, Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, Run DMC and Public Enemy.
