Without question, one of my favorite TV shows of all time is Live PD.

At least once a week, I get roped into an unavoidable Live PD rabbit hole on YouTube. At the time of this writing, I've been stuck in this rabbit hole for about 45 minutes now. Every time I finish one clip, I say to myself that this is my last one, I have work to do. Then, the video ends, and YouTube magically recommends a different Live PD video and of course, the title is so good, I'm basically forced to watch it.

For those unaware, the show was cancelled earlier this year. It only ran for four seasons, but gave us an impressive 298 episode-run. This show is much different from COPS, and the reason is in the title. It's completely live, meaning anything can happen, and nothing is planned or edited. They bounce around to live feeds with police departments all over the country.

In June, following the death of George Floyd and riots and protests, A&E announced they would be cancelling the show, effective immediately.

Still, it lives on on YouTube, and today, I wanted to share their Louisiana clips. Who knows, maybe you'll see someone you know.
