Bill Gates, the brain behind Microsoft Windows, said in an interview this week that the "Control-Alt-Delete" command was a HUGE mistake. Yes, the richest man in the world is admitting to a mistake.

He said, "It was a mistake.  We could've had a single button [to restart the computer], but the guy who did the IBM keyboard design didn't want to give us our single button." The "Control-Alt-Delete" command is used on Windows base computers to restart computers when they lock-up or freeze up on users.

Gates says that they selected the three keys on the keyboard, "Control-Alt-Delete,"  because they figured you wouldn't press those three together ACCIDENTALLY. It would have to be intentional.

Listen to what Mr. Gates had to say about the whole process below. Note, we can appreciate his sense of humor in the error.
