Billy Ray Cyrus has teamed up with rapper Buck 22 for a hip-hop meets EDM version of his very own 1992 smash hit, 'Achy Breaky Heart.'

In addition to being on the 'Achy Breaky' sequel, Billy Ray is also featured in the video that boasts copious amounts of jiggly, shaking; and of course twerking, alien female rumps. <cue Miley joke>

Yes. Aliens.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that the bizarre video opens with Larry King warning viewers of an "unidentified object" seen flying over Europe. From that point on, things just get really awkward.

If that's not weird akward interesting enough, rapper Buck 22 is actually the son of famed R&B songstress, Dionne Warwick and jazz drummer Bill Elliot.

But even those accolades don't prevent us from scratching our heads and asking the same question that you, and many others are thinking right now.

"Why?"

Well, worry not, because Buck 22 wasn't too busy and had time to explain in this statement.

I asked [Billy Ray Cyrus] if he would mind if I could take a crack at remaking 'Achy Breaky Heart' and he looked at me for a moment, and said 'lots of people have tried already, but go for it.' He didn't have a clue that I had already gone into the lab and cooked up a demo of what I thought would be a fun EDM/hip-hop styled version, which at the time only had a sample from the original of his voice. He liked what he heard and, weeks later, arrived at the session to record this track.

This is VERY real, and as a matter of fact the song is available for purchase + download now HERE on iTunes.

If it makes you feel any better, I too still have a very confused look on my face.

While I try to figure out what's real and what's not, tell me what you think of the song/video.
