Although Lil Wayne fans are still crossing their fingers in hopes that Birdman will release Tha Carter V soon, the Cash Money CEO is looking to get his hands into another major rapper's project. The music mogul reveals his hopes to executive produce 50 Cent's next album in a new Instagram post, and guarantees the LP would go platinum.

Birdman posted up a photo of the veteran Queens rapper's Get Rich or Die Tryin' album cover from 2003 and pitched himself to be the executive producer for his new project.

Told @50cent I wanna executive produce his next album 🔥it's guaranteed platinum plus #getrixhordietryin .P2 let's getit," Birdman writes.

As far as the response from fans and followers, the mogul has received mixed reviews, as some are excited about the idea, while others are doubting its potential success.

On 50 Cent's side, the Massacre MC might be open to the concept, as he was recently seen paying homage to Birdman by wearing Baby's merch. The hoodie showed the New Orleans mogul in cartoon form with his popular "Put some respeck on my name" catch phrase from his infamous Breakfast Club interview last year. Hopefully this is a sign that the two could be planning to start cooking up some heat in the studio in the near future.
