Black Eyed Peas Superbowl Bound
Guess who's headlining the Superbowl Halftime show? After years of bands with an average performer age of the usual AARP member (Bruce Springsteen, Rolling Stones, Tom Petty to name a few), finally, someone from our generation is doing the biggest show of the year, literally. Set to be seen in more households than just about any other show (besides other Super Bowls)...now the only thing that will make it better is when the Saints head back to the big one!
The Black Eyed Peas are the confirmed Super Bowl XLV half time show headliners.
Unconfirmed reports that the Black Eyed Peas were going to play the half time show had circulated for two months before it became official.
The Peas have been a part of other football shows. They took part in the 2005 Super Bowl pregame show titled, “Bridging Generations” and performed at the NFL Kickoff Concert in Pittsburgh in 2009.
