Boosie BadAzz Celebrates Being Cancer-Free With a Hawaiian Vacation

Boosie BadAzz is getting lit on the beach, giving thanks and living his life to the fullest! And why not? The Baton Rouge spitter was just recently declared cancer free, giving him every reason to show off his lavish Hawaiian vacation on the 'gram. In the pictures and videos, Boosie is seen drinking, singing and dancing on the beach with Black beauties and taking in a fireworks show.

Boosie BadAzz has been very honest and open about his health scare, making the news of kidney cancer public via Instagram late last year. XXL sat down with BadAzz for an exclusive interview in February where he retold the story of heading to the hospital for a stomach ache and finding out his diagnosis.

"My stomach was hurting, so I just told the doctor, let me get a MRI. I went and got an MRI and two hours later, they told me I had got cancer." said the 33-year-old hip-hop vet. "I said something like, “Hell no. I ain’t got no cancer, y’all trippin’.” Then I told him “Let’s go back down there,” and I got another MRI. And they came back [again] and said I got cancer. I was hurtin’ man because I already lost two aunties and an uncle to cancer in 2015 so I was hurting."

After undergoing surgery to remove half of his kidney, Boosie's been in high spirits and dropped music inspired by the ordeal. So far in 2016, Boosie has dropped two albums, In My Feelings (Goin Thru It) in January and Out My Feelings in the Past in February.

"Right now, I’m healthier than I ever been," he told XXL. "I’m back doing shows. I have more wind now than I had doing shows before I had cancer. So I’m in a good point in my life. I’m cancer-free."

Now, with a clean bill of health and new music to boot, Boosie seems to be taking in all of life's pleasures big and small while on his luxurious vacation. Check out the Instagram posts below.
