Boosie BadAzz, Gashi, Gnar and More: New Projects This Week
Several anticipated projects premiered over the course of the last seven days. Look below to check out all of the freshly released albums, mixtapes and EPs of the week.
Earlier this month, Boosie BadAzz and Zaytoven surprised fans with their collaboration “Dangerous Job.” The banger was a preview of their soon-to-follow joint project Bad Azz Zay. The 13-song project crafted by the Southern legend and super-producer features tracks such as “Pray for Me,” “Church on Monday,” and the Toyko Vanity-assisted “Boosie Party.” Prior to Bad Azz Zay, Zaytoven dropped collaborative projects with Chief Keef, Usher and Lecrae.
Gashi reconnected with DJ Snake this summer for the club-ready “Safety.” The track served as a single for his new self-titled album, Gashi. The Brooklyn-bred artist, who has worked with the late great Nipsey Hussle in the past, collaborated with French Montana and G-Eazy on his latest release, which features 16 tracks. The Roc Nation rapper is slated to take off on a European tour that is scheduled to land in major cities such as Paris, London, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Berlin later this year.
Just before the official end to the first Hot Girl Summer, Gnar delivers Fire Hazard. The new drop from the Gnar Lif3 rapper houses the records “Rockstar Flow,” “On Sight” and “Octane Sex,” as well as collaborations with Lil Yachty, YBN Nahmir, Lil Skies, Uno The Activist, Craig Xen and others.
