This isn't good.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the Boy Scouts of America may file for bankruptcy in the near future.

Not only has the scouting program seen fewer kids enrol in the program through the years, but legal fees are mounting up for the scouts as they have been in the courts to defend themselves in several cases involving abuse.

The New York Post reports that the scouts have hired an attorney to consider all legal options when it comes to filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The Boy Scouts of America is also in a legal battle with the Girl Scouts on trademark and infringement accusations.

I will continue to follow this developing story, but it's sad to see a program that I was invested in for so many years go through this.

I hope the scouts find a way to survive.
