
Brandon Scott Lavergne Pleads ‘Not Guilty’ In Murder Cases
We have received word that Brandon Scott Lavergne plead NOT GUILTY this morning in a Lafayette Parish Courthouse in the cases involving missing UL student Mickey Shunick and Youngsville native Lisa Pate. He plead not guilty to first-degree murder charges in both cases. Mickey Shunick has not yet been located and Lisa Pate's body was discovered in a field in the Church Point area nearly 12-years ago. According to KATC-TV, Judge Herman Clause set a deadline of October 9 for attorneys in the case to file motions.
