Running back Senorise Perry is now the first person in 42 years to wear OJ Simpson's #32 jersey for the Buffalo Bills. #32 has been out of circulation since 1977. Simpson played for the Bills from 1969 to 1977.

Perry is signed with the Bills as a free agent, and told The Athletic that he thought the number was retired, but when he found out it was available, he grabbed it up. Buffalo only has four numbers that have been retired - Jim Kelly's #12, Bruce Smith's #78, and Thurman Thomas' #34.

Simpson also gave his approval in a phone interview with the Athletic, saying he always tried to honor his time with his team in Buffalo.

Anybody else think there might be some bad karma going on with anything OJ Simpson previously associated with or touched? #justsayin
