Cable Snaps On Another ‘Sling Shot’ Ride [VIDEO]

It happened again; another cable on the very popular 'Sling Shot' ride has broken.

This time, the ride was actually in the air. The rider suffered a broken leg after the cable snapped in mid-air. The other person on the ride was not injured, thank goodness!

The park came out with a statement saying it was a "manufacturing defect" in the cable. Whatever it was, this is the second time a cable has snapped on a ride this summer. The ride is now closed for the rest of the summer.
