Carencro Lands a Triple Treat: Dunkin’, Baskin Robbins, and Jimmy John’s
The former Soul Haus Kitchen in Carencro has finally found new life, and this time, it comes with a unique twist: three nationally recognized brands under one roof.
According to a report by Adam Daigle at the Acadiana Advocate, the building on 110 Hector Connoly Road will soon house a Dunkin’, Baskin Robbins, and Jimmy John’s in a combo space unlike anything the area has seen to my knowledge.
The 2,750-square-foot property, originally a Hardee’s, sold for $1.515 million to Aakash Management Co., a South Florida-based franchisee. This company operates several popular chains and is bringing three of Inspire Brands’ concepts, Dunkin’, Baskin Robbins, and Jimmy John’s, into a single location.
A Convenient Stop for Locals and Travelers
Carencro has seen steady growth, but this project could be the missing piece for a high-traffic area just off I-49. Residents will soon be able to grab coffee and donuts from Dunkin’, indulge in 31 flavors at Baskin Robbins, or pick up a quick sandwich from Jimmy John’s, all in one stop.
With thousands of travelers passing through daily, the brands’ recognition makes it a convenient stop for anyone needing a quick bite before jumping back on the highway. For locals, it adds variety without having to drive into Lafayette.
A Unique Approach to an Underused Space
The building has seen its share of struggles, with two concepts failing to stick after Hardee’s closed. But the combination of three well-known franchises may finally be the winning formula.
According to the Advocate report, commercial real estate agent Camille Mahtook noted that this Carencro spot will be the first known “tri-brand” location for these franchises, making it a test case for whether three unique offerings can thrive together in one space.
If successful, it could become a go-to stop for both locals and I-49 travelers looking for coffee, a sandwich, or something sweet, all just steps from the highway.
