UPDATE: Lanes Open after Cement Truck Overturns on Highway 90 in Broussard

According to local officials, all lanes of Highway 90 westbound in Broussard have reopend. Earlier in the morning a cement truck overturned blocking traffic for several hours.

A cement truck overturned on Highway 90 westbound this morning.

According to Broussard Police Chief Vance Olivier tells KPEL that no one was injured, but the situation is having an impact on traffic.

One lane of traffic is blocked, that's the left lane. The other lane of traffic is open, but things are moving slowly.

Officials are working to get a wrecker truck to the scene.
